Terms of Service
What you can expect from us.
Rivers Resume Services Ltd pledges to deliver all services - Resume/CV, LinkedIn Profile, Cover Letter, Thank You Letter, Jobsearch Advice, et cetera - in a swift and professional manner. Our entire process takes on average 1-3 business days. Rush processing is also available for an extra charge.
The timeline below outlines the average method and delivery for our clients.
1. Once the client has identified what level of service fits them, they must confirm their interest in ordering via our online form or through direct communication with our team. PayPal is the usual method for service payment, ensuring swift and secure transactions.
2. The client is immediately assigned to a Certified Professional with specialist knowledge matching the service/s they have purchased.
3. The Certified Professional will request information about the client's career and jobsearching goals. They will also request a prior Resume/CV if one exists (for Resume/CV revisions), and/or a LinkedIn Profile url (for LinkedIn revisions).
4. Based on the assessment of prior Resume/CV and/or LinkedIn Profile information, the Certified Professional will:
a:) Project a timeline for first draft revision and completion, or ...
b:) Ask further questions to gain more detailed information to enhance the resume or profile. In the case of b, all information must be gathered before project timeline can be set.
(For clients who are not purchasing Resume/CV revision but other services only, skip to step 9.)
5. Resume/CV Revision commences, with consistent communication and updates (via email or online messengers) to keep clients aware of the progress of their service.
6. First Resume/CV draft begins, with a focus on fixing formatting and adjusting content to suit the industry/role being aspired to, is completed, and sent for review.
7. After receiving feedback from the first draft, up to 2 more revisions are completed on resumes - making a maximum of 3 revisions total... (See below for terms on revisions).
8. Once the Resume/CV is finalised, the final draft will be submitted to clients in a Word document and a PDF.
9. Next, the Certified Professional will deliver any other services additionally purchased (i.e.: LinkedIn profile, Cover Letters and Thank You letters)... These items can be revised up to 2 times to meet 100% client satisfaction. (See below terms on revisions).
10. Clients will receive detailed jobsearching advice to expand their understanding of application processes, and to maximise their chances of securing positive results. 100% Client Satisfaction Cycle complete!
TERMS ON SERVICE UPTAKE
Please note that clients have 30 days to provide documents and/or instructions for revision and services. If they have not done so within this period, service will be cancelled without refund. If the client agrees a pause on services (e.g.: "I have a very busy week, can I get back to you a week Friday?"), and this is agreed upon, the client must adhere to this or else the 30-day count begins again. We make every effort to connect with and prompt service use, but where a client does not provide any responses for 30+ days, these are the terms.
REFUND POLICY
Rivers Resume Services Ltd will only offer a refund on clients' Resume/CV/Service in the unlikely event that:
1: We fail to provide a Resume/CV/Service that fails to meet the client's approval.
AND
2: Clients can prove their active jobsearching activities have not been improved by said service.
To date, Rivers Resume Services Ltd have never had any client request a refund! On average, our clients start securing interviews within the first 2 weeks.
Revision Terms
Clients are entitled to up to 3 drafts of all Resume/CV products before finalisation, to ensure 100% client satisfaction is met. Clients are also entitled to up to 2 revisions/adjustments to LinkedIn Profiles and Letters.
After finalisation of the Resume/CV has been agreed by the client, no further amendments will be made for free, regardless of how many edits have been made up to this point (i.e.: less than 3).
Rivers Resume Services Ltd will never make amendments to a Resume/CV, LinkedIn Profile, Cover or Thank You Letter - at any stage in the process - in response to the unqualified opinion of a client’s colleague, friend or family member, regarding the delivered Resume/CV.
The only time we may submit changes is if a client can provide us with in-depth feedback from a Recruiter/Employer relating to a role they directly applied for with them. We do not make changes/amendments because a friend works or used to work in Recruitment and has given a client advice, or any similar situation.
Rivers Resume Services Ltd maintains the right to refuse to make any changes/amendments to content, layout and format that could potentially have a negative impact on the client’s jobsearch down the line. We have a professional and ethical obligation to craft Resumes/CVs, LinkedIn Profiles and Letters that are fit for purpose, functional and will get through ATS systems and produce opportunities for clients.
Clients must respect that when they are taking up a service with Rivers Resume Services Ltd, they are handing over their document/profile to be crafted in our styling, based on our professional expertise and record of success.
If a client persistently denies the advice and writing style provided by their assigned certified professional, then we maintain the right to refuse to continue any further, without return of funds. In order to get a full return on investment, it is highly recommended that the client let the certified professional do their job and take their advice, as this is why the client has paid for our services.
